Do you have a portfolio I can view?
Do you offer free logo consultations or evaluations for my existing logo?

We’ll assess clarity, scalability, typographic balance, and alignment with your brand identity, then offer tailored recommendations. What is a logo rebrand? Does my logo require rebranding?
A logo rebrand involves redesigning or refining your existing logo to better reflect your business’s current identity, values, and direction. It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about alignment. If your business has evolved, your audience has shifted, or your current logo feels outdated, inconsistent, or hard to use across platforms, a rebrand might be the right move.
We often recommend rebranding when:
- Your logo no longer resonates with your target market
- You’ve expanded services, changed your name, or repositioned your brand
- The design lacks versatility for digital, print, or merchandise
- You want to elevate your visual identity to match your growth
We’re happy to assess your current logo and offer honest, strategic advice—whether it needs a full redesign or just a thoughtful refresh.
We also offer a free logo evaluation service to help you assess the strength, clarity, and relevance of your current branding—no obligation, just strategic feedback in the form of constructive criticism coming from a place of graphic design experience.
If you don’t require a full logo rebrand/redesign, we’ll tell you directly and honestly. Sometimes only minor tweaks are required to optimise your pre-existing design and this can significantly lower the cost of design time (also because no research phase is required). We’ll tell it like it is, but always keeping confidentiality, honesty, politeness and respect in mind when communicating with you.

What businesses require logo design? What industries do you specialize in?
Many businesses and organisations can benefit from a professional logo design. We specialise in all kinds of businesses offering either services and/or products.
An extensive list of businesses that require logo design is essentially a list of all businesses. A logo is a fundamental part of a company’s identity and is needed for a wide array of purposes, from building brand recognition to instilling trust.
Here is a categorized and extensive list of businesses and industries that require logo design, whether for a new venture or a rebrand:
Can you design or re-design a logo based on my existing brand?
Absolutely — we specialize in designing and re-designing logos that align with your existing brand identity. Whether you’re looking to evolve your current logo, modernize its look, or create a fresh version that retains key elements, we’ll work closely with you to ensure continuity and clarity. We begin by reviewing your existing assets, understanding your brand values, and identifying what should be preserved, refined, or reimagined. The result is a logo that feels familiar yet elevated — ready for today’s platforms, audiences, and applications.
A well-executed logo rebrand can signal growth, attract new customers, and better reflect a business’s evolving identity and values. It’s not just a design update—it’s a strategic investment in visibility, trust, and long-term relevance.
What is a brand style guide and do I need one?
A brand style guide is a foundational document that outlines how your brand should be visually and verbally represented across all platforms. It typically includes your logo usage rules, color palette, typography, spacing, imagery style, and tone of voice — ensuring consistency whether you’re designing a business card, building a website, or posting on social media.
A style guide protects the integrity of your brand, especially as your business grows or collaborates with others. It helps designers, developers, marketers, and printers stay aligned, reducing guesswork and maintaining a professional, cohesive identity. Whether you’re launching a new brand or refining an existing one, we can create a tailored style guide to support your logo and elevate your presence.
If you are a sole trader you probably can get away with a brief one or two page summary on how to use and apply the logo correctly and what not to do. If you’re a business with more than several employees, then yes, you absolutely need one. The general rule is, bigger the company the longer the style manual.
Can you redesign an existing logo or modernize it?
Yes — we can absolutely redesign or modernize your existing logo. Whether you’re looking to refine the typography, simplify the layout, update the color palette, or bring your brand into a more contemporary visual space, we approach every redesign with respect for what’s already working and clarity about what needs to evolve. We’ll assess your current logo’s strengths, understand your brand’s direction, and create a refreshed identity that feels both familiar and elevated. It’s about honoring your legacy while making sure your logo performs across today’s platforms and audiences.
Do you offer different logo design packages?
Yes — we offer a range of logo design packages to suit different needs, budgets, and stages of brand development. Whether you’re a startup looking for a clean, professional mark or an established business ready for a full visual identity system, we tailor our packages to match your goals. Options typically include:
- Essential Logo Package – A refined logo with core file formats for print and digital use.
- Brand Starter Kit – Logo plus color palette, typography recommendations, and basic usage guidelines.
- Full Identity Suite – Logo, brand style guide, social media assets, mockups, and optional stamp or texture variations.
- Logo Refresh Package – For businesses seeking to modernize or evolve an existing logo while retaining brand recognition.
We’re happy to walk you through the options and recommend a package that fits your vision and growth trajectory.
How do you ensure the logo is unique and original?
We ensure every logo we create is unique and original by starting with a deep dive into your brand’s identity, values, audience, and competitive landscape. Our process is research-driven and concept-led — we avoid templates, clip art, and generic marks. Instead, we craft custom visuals from scratch, guided by strategy and refined through iteration.
We also conduct visual audits and style differentiation checks to make sure your logo stands apart in your industry. Whether it’s through distinctive typography, symbolic abstraction, or regionally inspired motifs, our goal is to design a mark that’s unmistakably yours — one that resonates, endures, and never feels derivative.
Do I need to have a clear idea of what I want before we start?
Not at all — having a clear idea is helpful, but it’s absolutely not required. Many of our clients come to us with just a business name and a general sense of their audience, target market or values. Part of our role is to guide you through the creative process: we ask the right questions, explore visual directions, and present concepts that help clarify your brand identity. Whether you have a detailed vision or are starting from scratch, we’ll meet you where you are and shape a logo that feels authentic, strategic, and uniquely yours.
What does the logo design process look like, step-by-step?
Great question—designing a great logo that stands the test of time is much more complicated that most people think. For smaller Here’s how we approach logo design at our studio, step-by-step:
- Discovery & briefing We begin by understanding your business, goals, audience, and brand personality. This includes a detailed briefing session and sometimes a questionnaire to clarify your vision and values.
- Research & strategy We dive into market research, competitor analysis, and visual trends to position your brand effectively. This phase informs the creative direction and ensures your logo stands out while staying relevant.
- Concept development Based on our findings, we sketch and explore multiple logo concepts. These range from typographic treatments to symbolic marks, each rooted in your brand’s story.
- Design refinement We present initial concepts and collaborate with you to refine the strongest direction. This includes adjustments to typography, color, spacing, and scalability.
- Finalization & delivery Once approved, we prepare your logo in all necessary formats—print, digital, transparent, monochrome, and more—along with a style guide to ensure consistent usage.
- Optional brand extensions Need more than a logo? We can expand into business cards, stationary, media assets, signage, or other graphic design requirements.
Every step is collaborative, strategic, and tailored to your brand’s future. For small projects we try to speed up this process and make it as easy, fast and painless as possible. For larger companies, there is generally more collaboration involved or expected and this is more what it looks like.
How long does the logo design process take?
The timeline for logo design varies depending on the scope and complexity of your brand, but most projects take between 2 to 4 weeks from initial briefing to final delivery. This allows time for thoughtful research, concept development, collaborative refinement, and preparation of all final assets. Often we can present initial concepts in under a week. If you like these straight away then we can deliver the final files by the next working business day. Abstract ideas sometimes take a bit longer. Working with larger companies and corporations requires more input and a more collaborative approach and that obviously takes more time.
What does a typical logo project cost?
That’s an excellent and very important question. The cost of a logo project can vary significantly because it’s not a one-size-fits-all service. A logo is an investment, and its value is determined by the scope of work and the level of strategy and collaboration involved.
Our project costs are determined on a per-project basis after we’ve had a conversation with you to understand your specific needs. While we don’t have a single flat fee, our logo design packages generally range from a basic logo and file set to a comprehensive branding package. This approach ensures you’re only paying for what you need and that our work is directly tied to your business goals.
Here’s a breakdown of what a typical logo project costs and the key factors that influence the price:
Factors That Influence the Cost
- Project Scope: This is the most significant factor. Generally larger companies and corporations have more requirements than sole traders or other small- to medium- sized businesses. Are you looking for just a single logo mark, or do you need a full brand identity package? A comprehensive package, which includes a primary logo, secondary marks, a color palette, typography, brand guidelines, and social media assets, will naturally have a higher cost due to the additional time and deliverables required.
- Complexity of the Design: A simple wordmark or a clean, geometric logo will require less design time than a custom illustrated mascot or a highly intricate emblem. The level of detail and artistic effort directly impacts the project’s hours.
- Timeline: While we always strive to work efficiently, a project that requires a very tight, expedited turnaround may incur an additional fee. This is because it requires us to rearrange our current project schedule to prioritize your needs.
- Research & Strategy: A professional logo isn’t just a design—it’s the result of strategic thinking. The amount of research, competitor analysis, and brand strategy work we put in upfront can affect the cost. This foundational work ensures the logo is not just beautiful, but also effective and unique in your market.
- Number of Revisions: Our packages include a set number of revisions to ensure we get the design just right. While we work to get it perfect within those rounds, extensive revisions or a complete change in direction after initial concepts have been approved may affect the final cost.
We believe in full transparency. At our logobrain design agency studio, most logo branding packages fall within a AUD$450–$2,500 price range. If you just require the logo only, we are only too happy to provide that and it does lower the cost. Please note that we currently have a special logo design only package offer available for just $299, but only until December 31st 2025.
After our initial consultation, we will provide you with a detailed proposal that outlines the scope of work, all deliverables, and a clear, fixed price so there are no surprises.
What services do you offer beyond logo design?
In addition to custom logo design, we offer other branding and visual identity services to help your business stand out with clarity and consistency. These include: graphic design, illustration, web design and signage.
Whether you’re building a brand from scratch or refining an existing identity, we tailor our services to meet your goals with precision, creativity, and technical care. Let us know where you’re headed — we’ll help you get there visually.
Can you help put my logo onto a commercial vehicle?
Yes we can help apply your logo to a commercial vehicle. Whether you’re branding a single work van or an entire fleet, we’ll prepare your logo in the correct formats and dimensions for high-quality signage or vinyl decals. This includes vector files optimized for large-scale printing, layout mockups to visualize placement, and coordination with your signage provider if needed.
Please note at this stage that we are not able to design full-colour vehicle wraps as it is not really our thing. We generally only do minimalist logos on white commercial vehicles.
Can you help with other branding needs, like a website design?
Yes — while logo design is our specialty, we offer a range of branding and marketing services to support your business beyond the mark. This includes web design.

Additional support questions:
What are vector files and why are they important?
Vector files are a type of graphic format built from mathematical paths rather than pixels — which means they can be scaled infinitely without losing clarity or quality. Common vector formats include .AI
(Adobe Illustrator), .EPS
, and .SVG
.
They’re essential for logo design because your logo needs to perform across a wide range of applications: from tiny favicons to billboard signage, embroidery to packaging. Vector files ensure your logo stays crisp, clean, and professional at any size. They also allow for easy editing, color adjustments, and format conversions — making them the backbone of any brand’s visual toolkit. We always include vector files in our deliverables to future-proof your identity.
Can I get a transparent background version of my logo?
Yes — every logo package we deliver includes a transparent background version. This format (typically a .PNG
) allows your logo to be placed seamlessly over any color, image, or texture without a visible box or background. It’s essential for websites, social media, merchandise, and layered design work. We also provide alternate versions — such as inverted or monochrome — to ensure your logo remains clear and versatile across different contexts. If you need a specific format for embroidery, signage, or packaging, we’re happy to include that too.
What file formats will I receive? Do you provide vector files?
Yes — we provide a comprehensive set of file formats to ensure your logo is versatile, scalable, and ready for any application. Every logo package includes common raster formats including .PNG
and .JPG
as well as the industry standard adobe illustrator .AI
vector file format.
We also include alternate versions upon request — such as monochrome, inverted, and simplified formats — to ensure your logo performs across platforms and materials. If you need a specific format for embroidery, packaging, or signage, just let us know. We’re happy to tailor the deliverables to your workflow.
Can I trademark the logo you create?
Yes — the logos we create are custom-designed and original, which means you can trademark them. Once your final logo is approved and delivered, you’ll have full ownership rights, making it eligible for trademark registration through your local or national intellectual property office.
While we don’t file trademarks directly, we design with trademarkability in mind — avoiding generic symbols, ensuring distinctiveness, and providing the necessary file formats and documentation to support your application. If you’re planning to trademark your logo, we’re happy to guide you through the design considerations and recommend next steps.
Are fonts used in the logo licensed? Are they included in the price of the logo?
Yes — any fonts we use in your logo are properly licensed and selected with commercial usage in mind. If the logo includes custom typography or modified letterforms, those are created in-house and fully original. For standard typefaces, we ensure they’re either free for commercial use or appropriately licensed under our studio’s design tools.
In most cases, the cost of font licensing is covered within your logo package. If your project requires a premium or proprietary font that needs separate licensing for your brand’s ongoing use (e.g., across marketing materials or your website), we’ll advise you what fonts need to be purchased separately and guide you through the options. Transparency is key — we make sure you know exactly what’s included and what’s needed to keep your brand legally protected and visually consistent.
What are your general terms & conditions?
Please read our general terms & conditions here.
What is your policy on confidentiality?
We treat confidentiality as a core part of our professional practice. Whether you’re launching a new venture, rebranding, or developing proprietary visuals, your materials and conversations with us remain strictly private. We never share client assets, concepts, or strategic details without explicit permission—and we’re happy to formalize this with a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if needed. Your trust is foundational to the creative process, and we protect it at every stage.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)?
Absolutely. We understand that early-stage ideas, rebrands, or strategic shifts often require confidentiality. We’re happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect your intellectual property and ensure your project details remain private. Just send through your preferred document, or we can provide a standard template if needed. Your trust is essential to our creative partnership.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand?
A logo is a visual mark—a symbol, wordmark, or combination—that represents your business at a glance. It’s the anchor of your identity, but it’s just one piece of the puzzle. A brand, on the other hand, is the full experience: your tone of voice, colors, typography, messaging, values, and how people feel when they interact with your business. Think of the logo as your signature, and the brand as your personality, reputation, and story—all working together to build recognition and trust.
What makes a logo effective for small businesses?
An effective logo for a small business is one that’s clear, memorable, and strategically aligned with your brand’s personality and audience. It needs to work hard across many touchpoints — from signage and packaging to social media and invoices — so simplicity, scalability, and versatility are key.
For a small business, an effective logo is a strategic asset, not just a pretty design. It’s the face of your brand, and it needs to work hard for you across countless applications with limited resources.
At our core, we believe a logo is effective for a small business if it is:
- Simple & Instantly Recognizable: In a crowded market, you only have a moment to make an impression. A simple, minimalist logo cuts through the noise. It’s easy for potential customers to see, process, and remember, even at a glance on a social media feed or a vehicle.
- Versatile & Scalable: A small business needs a logo that works everywhere. It has to look great as a tiny profile picture on Instagram, on a business card, on a t-shirt, and on a large sign. A minimalist design, built with clean lines and shapes, can be scaled up or down without losing clarity or impact. It functions perfectly in black-and-white, a single color, or on any background.
- Timeless: Small businesses often don’t have the budget for a rebrand every few years. An effective logo must be built to last. By avoiding fleeting trends and focusing on fundamental design principles, our minimalist approach creates a timeless mark that will remain fresh and relevant for years to come, securing your initial investment.
In short, a great logo for a small business is a minimalist logo. It’s a clear, memorable, and adaptable symbol that lays the foundation for a strong, trustworthy brand identity without any unnecessary complexity.
We design logos that not only look professional but also communicate your values at a glance. For small businesses, that often means creating a mark that builds trust, stands out in a local or niche market, and feels authentic to your story. Whether you’re just starting out or growing your presence, a well-crafted logo helps you make a confident first impression and stay recognizable wherever your brand appears.
What is your design philosophy?
At our studio, we believe that less is more. Our design philosophy centers on minimalism and strategic simplicity. We believe that a great logo isn’t about complex graphics or trendy elements, but about creating a timeless and impactful mark that truly represents your brand.
Our design philosophy centers on creating minimalist logos that are clean, timeless, and impactful. We focus on distilling a brand’s essence into simple, elegant forms—using clean lines, balanced proportions, and purposeful negative space to convey clarity and sophistication.
We focus on a “less is more” approach. This means we strip away the unnecessary to reveal the core essence of your business. By using clean lines, thoughtful typography, and a deliberate use of space, we create logos that are not only aesthetically pleasing but are also highly memorable and versatile.
We believe that minimalist logos — when crafted with precision — communicate more by showing less. Every line, curve, and space serves a purpose. We strip away the unnecessary to reveal the essential, creating marks that are timeless, versatile, and instantly recognizable.
Every element in our designs is intentional, ensuring versatility across mediums while leaving a lasting impression. We aim to craft logos that are not just visually striking but also deeply meaningful, reflecting your brand’s unique story with understated power.
Minimalism isn’t about being plain — it’s about being powerful without excess. We focus on strong geometry, thoughtful typography, and subtle symbolism to ensure your logo performs across platforms while staying true to your brand’s core. The result is a clean, confident identity that speaks volumes in silence.
Our goal is to design a logo that stands the test of time, works seamlessly across all platforms—from a social media profile to a large billboard—and communicates your brand’s story with clarity and confidence.
Do you use AI in your design workflow?
No — we don’t use AI in our creative logo design workflow. Every logo we create is crafted by human designers with a focus on originality, strategy, and visual clarity. We believe that meaningful design comes from thoughtful research, creative intuition, and close collaboration with our clients — not from automated tools or generative shortcuts.
Every logo we create starts from a blank canvas. We take the time to understand your vision, your target audience, and your market. This human-led approach ensures that your final logo is not only original and legally safe from potential copyright issues, but also a truly individual mark that authentically represents your business. We are a studio of designers, not an algorithm. Our passion is to craft a unique visual identity that is as genuine and distinctive as your own business brand.
Our process is hands-on and concept-driven. From sketching ideas to refining typography and symbolism, we ensure each mark is tailored to your brand’s story and built with technical precision. From initial sketches to final refinements, our process relies on hands-on research, brainstorming, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure your logo authentically reflects your brand’s unique identity.
We believe this human-centered approach delivers truly original, thoughtful, and minimalist designs that resonate deeply with your audience. If you’re looking for a logo that’s truly bespoke and rooted in human insight, you’re in the right place.
