Wondering how it all works? Rather than write a list of FAQs we decided to explain the process. So here it is:
Interview

1. Consultation

The first step is that you consult with us about your needs. Great design requires lots of communication, that’s why we’ll ask you many questions. At the end we may provide you with a ballpark quote to give you an idea of the approximate cost (within a certain range).

Quote

2. Quote

Next, we’ll provide you with an accurate (fixed) quote. We won’t change the price unless you order additional services from us.

Deposit

3. Deposit

We’ll ask that you pay a small deposit (20 to 25%) in order to get the ball rolling on your project. We don’t start any work until the deposit is paid. This is to ensure that everybody is on the same page.

Survey

4. Survey

We may ask you to answer some additional questions around this time. This is usually over the telephone but may also involve email and/or text messages.

Research

5. Research

The best designs arise when the subject is well-researched. We’ll research your industry and your competitors to get a better idea of your requirements.

Brainstorming

6. Brainstorming

The fun begins! We get to work thinking about the direction of your logo. We don’t always jump on the computer straight away. We may draw a mindmap to help us come up with novel ideas.

We diligently begin work on your project.

7. Work

The pressure is on for us as we begin the process of fleshing out some initial sketches for your logo. We’ll also begin to look at typography at this stage, which lends an all-important personality to your brand.

We continue diligently working on your project.

8. Work+

We continue diligently working on your project. Jumping back onto the computer again, we’ll scour our extensive typography resources to find just the right match for your particular business. We’ll fine-tune the details and ideally produce more than one design for you to choose from in the next step.

Comp + mockups

9. Comp

We send you what’s called a “comp” for you to approve (and wait anxiously/nervously). We may include mockups of what the final design would look like to help you visualise it better. You may also request changes at this stage.

Tweaking (if necessary)

10. Tweaking

We get on with modifying and finalising the design while attempting to accommodate your suggestions. While all ideas are taken on board for consideration, we reserve the right to reject certain changes if we think it is in your own best interests.

Final Delivery

11. Delivery

We send the final files to you: several sizes of images in various file formats, in addition to the original vector files, zipped together into a convenient file package.

Invoice

12. Invoice

We send you the final invoice detailing the work done, the total price and the remaining balance to be paid.

Payment

13. Payment

Usually you have 30 days to pay the remaining balance in full. We accept all major credit cards, paypal, bank deposit or cash. No we don’t accept bitcoin payments.

Branding

14. Branding

No doubt the part you’ve been waiting for! You can essentially take it from here. It’s such an important step we wanted to show you what consistent branding looks like on a fleet of imaginary vehicles. Nice.

Investment

15. Investment

There is another stage to the process and that is where you can see that your investment pays you dividends. You and your company are now represented –supported– by your new logo, your new brand.

What does LogoBrain do?

LogoBrain specialises in logo design for small to medium-sized businesses. A well-designed logo does a lot more than “look pretty. It’s so much more than that…

A professionally-designed logo identifies the company, clarifies what they do and distinguishes them from the competition. It adds a layer of trust amongst your customers and reinforces the quality of your product or service. It boosts gross sales revenue, increases profit margins and enhances something called brand equity – the value of your tribe, your name, your business, your net worth.

A great logo is also memorable; easy to print or publish; and can be scaled up to the size of an airplane (or down to the size of an computer icon) without loss of quality.

Logobrain delivers exactly those sort of clever logos you wish you’d thought of. That’s the logobrain brand promise. If you choose us for your next project you won’t be disappointed.
